    We need the rainforests to keep our planet healthy, The absorption of this CO2  is what helps to stabilize the Earth’s climate.70 % of cancer medicines were made from plants only found in the rainforest, so that means   with out the rainforests so many people would die from  cancer .50% of animals and plants are from rainforest so with out rainforest alot of animals would become extinct .

    The Amazon Rainforest Location

    The Amazon covers a huge area (6.7 million sq km) of South America. Nearly 60% of the rainforest is in Brazil, while the rest is shared among eight other countries—Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela and French Guiana, an overseas territory of France.

    More than 30 million people of 350 different ethnic groups live in the Amazon, which are subdivided into 9 different national political systems and 3,344 formally acknowledged indigenous territories. Indigenous peoples make up 9% of the total population, and 60 of the groups remain largely isolated

    1. The Amazon rainforest covers an enormous 6.7 million square kilometres. Spanning 8 countries and one overseas territory in South America and representing an area twice the size of India – or roughly 28 times the side of the UK

    Invasive species

    Invasive Species in Tropical Rainforest

    An example of an invasive species found in the Amazon rainforest is Limnoperna fortunei, or the golden mussel, which is native to China. It is a freshwater mollusk that was accidentally introduced in South America in the beginning of 1990s.

    Did u know:
     four square mile patch of rainforest contains as many as 750 species of trees, 150 species of butterflies, 1500 flowering plants and 400 species of birds!!

    Living in Central American rainforests, a sloth can carry algae, beetles and cockroaches in its fur!

    If we don’t have rainforests there is low percentage chance of humans surviving because trees give us the oxygen that we need to breathe and stay alive. Without them we would have bad air Co2 which would make us die.
