Peter ‘s fraction is 3/8 because it says there are 5 chocolate and 3 vanilla because the denominator represents the total we will count them 5 + 3 = 8 and because are numerator represents how much we are talking about and we are talking about the vanilla so it would be 3 and are fraction is 3/8. If he added 2 more it would be 4/9.

I used 5 and 7 to make 5/7 . This is because we were putting five in the sevens and the 7s were not so short. My fraction is 2 less then 1 whole because in order for it to be a whole the denominator and numerator need to be the same .-
