    1. I think Ben was lying in line 27 it says I’ve finished my Soup granny it was yummy but when granny was not looking and making more soup for Ben he wasted it and poured it in the poor,sick plant pot
    2. Ben felt lonely at school because he wasn’t a fast reader so they moved him down a year and his friends were in a higher grade so he felt lonely 😕😞☹️😔😢😭

    1. I think granny is happy and excited because her grandson is staying over and she has someone to play scrabble with. I also think she is a bit sad because she only has ONE grandson and she wants another one
    2. I predict that in the story Ben wants something that is not cabbage so he asks granny if there’s anything else and granny says look in the biscuit tin and when he opens it he sees beautiful diamonds and jewels and he is astonish by the content of the tin

    Grannies house is like a library. In each corner you can see the dusty old books and the new interesting crime novels. On the cover of the crime novels include: fast super cars, big scary guns and many more!!! Granny’s house has a broken tv and all she does is eat cabbage and play scrabble! But what Ben doesn’t know grannie is a gangsta!!!!!! 🥷🏼👵🏻😮😮😮🤯

    Majority of books on the floor . Granny had a adoration for crime books with front covers filled with guns, cars and glamorous ladies. Although Granny was old, she had many vintage items in such a modern house. Furniture like: old sofas which could use some touching up with colour, a vintage 1960s TV with the greatest shows of the 1960s and cute yet dead flowers in plant pots (although Ben poured her old cabbage soup in one of them). Granny’s house wasn’t particularly bad. It was filled with the smell of cabbage and many pieces of scrabble scattered on the table.

    I knew that Ben was lying because of the look on Ben’s face when he first looked at the food (Because every time he goes to grannys house he gets cabbage soup ) and after he tasted it .It looked like he absolutely hated the food with all his heart .
    Ben felt lonely at school because he had no friends there it is probably also because he parents go to strictly dancing every day and left him to go to school so he went in school in a bad mood .
