Year 3 Homework Week 5

For homework this week you need to complete 2/3 pieces.

Solve the problem above and explain how you calculated your answer.

English

Create a book review for your reading book. You can use the template in your reading journal to help you.

WOW

Create a creative fact file for Italy. It could be a poster, leaflet, mini book it is up to you.

You can email your homework to y3upload@broadheath.coventry.sch.uk or you can bring it in to show your teachers.

You may answer the maths and English in the comments if you wish, however we will be checking for differences in work so we know you have not copied and pasted.

    The answer is 192. I know this because 8×24=192 and if you add 2X to the question then it’s 192.

    The name of the book is Aesop’s Fables and the person who wrote the book which is the author is Carol Watson .

    The book is a non fiction book and it is a picture book also I like picture book.
    The story is about an animal race and the animals are rabbit, snail, tortoise, crow, ant and mouse. Those are my favourite animal in the world.
    Since it’s a nice book, I would recommend to looking towards getting this book because very interesting and enjoyable to actually to read .
    I give this book a 4.9 star review .

    I rate my reading book a 6/10.
    The book has a good amount of paces which is, 31 but the book could have more writing on each page .
    It could also have some better more exiting vocabulary added to the story.
    So other readers who read it would not get bored of this book.
    But I still recommed people to read this wonderful book!

    90 + 90 = 180
    6+6 = 12
    180+12=192
    8×24 = 192
    Another way to do it is
    8 x20=160
    8×4=32
    160+32=192
    Your answer is 192

    I rate my book four stars. It is good because it has lots of pictures and there is an old lady who helped the girl. It is bad because there are two girls who don’t let her go to the prom. Overall it’s a good book.

    I like it because I am learning new things about it.
    One thing I didn’t like was the hard spelling.
    I suggest people will like it because it is very interesting.
