In 2 weeks time, Year 2 will be making a tower in Science using resources of their own choice. Next Wednesday, they will be designing their towers, but it would be really useful if you could get them to think about the resources they might want to use. They need to remember that their tower needs to be tall and sturdy, so a strong base is a must. Once you have decided with your child what resources to use, could you please start collecting them in preparation for Wednesday 29th January, when they will make their tower. Glue, tape, card and lolly pop sticks will be provided by school. Below are some ideas for making a tower.
Please start collecting boxes, cardboard roles, egg cartons, paper cups etc.
