We share all the exciting events that took place last term and give you a sneak peek of what’s coming up.

Hi Year 5, here is your homework for this week.

Complete two homework tasks. There is no Spelling Shed task this week.

Homework should be a celebration of your learning and should reflect your full effort and ability. Homework is also a brilliant opportunity to discover more and take time to produce a piece of work you are truly proud of. The best efforts could even be sent to Mr Andrews, when he calls for good work.

Homework MUST be completed and brought into school on WEDNESDAY at the latest. This includes your spellings.

To convert mixed numbers to improper fractions

A game: “Making a Splash” has been set for you on Education City.

To practise long spelling words

Our long spelling test will be held during project week. Please practise your words.

You can also practise all y5/6 words on Spelling Shed by clicking more and then Stage 5/6, and then the little green arrow in the top right corner.

WOW!

To review the rules of kabaddi

This half term, you’ve been playing kabaddi in PE. Write instructions on how to play. This could be presented as a leaflet, a poster or as an instruction text.
