This week, I introduced a word of the week for the children. Their task was to use the word correctly in a sentence, but more importantly, they need to spell the word correctly.
The word of the week was ‘occassionally’.

As you can, see many children were keen to get involved in this fun little activity that we ended up running out of space!
I was really impressed by the children’s efforts at trying to include ‘occassionally’ in their sentences, but I did tell the children that there can only be one winner each week.
The winner this week is… Eva H! ⭐
Her sentence was, “I occasionally go to my grandparents.”
Everyone will get another chance to write the most creative and interesting sentence next week, with a new word!
