This afternoon, 6 Red explored the meaning of Ummah. We discussed the importance of having a community and being one nation of Muslims, devoted to one God.
We discuss the importance of equality, regardless of gender, race or background.
The children were asked to present the meaning, whilst considering the challenges and benefits of being part of the Ummah in Britain today.
Challenge: Are there any connections between Ummah and other communities?
