Insulating materials in 5 Red.

The big question was: WHICH MATERIALS CAN BE USED TO MAKE AN INSULATED CUP?

Today in Science we used our plans to create our own insulated cups. We used different materials, such as cardboard, bubble wrap, foil and cloth. The purpose was to test to see if they kept the water cool or warm over a long period of time. Take a look at our pictures below.

Which material do you think would work the best?

    I think the material that worked best is the Foil because it reflects the heat to the opposite direction which means a hot or cold drink will try to stay the same temperature of the drink temperature you started with.
