On Friday, 4Red constructed their own torches using plastic water bottles and toilet rolls as part of their Design and Technology unit. As well as this, torches were a key feature of WW2 for civilians during the Blackouts, so this linked well into our learning in History. The children showed great team work and determination to complete their torches in preparation for next week, where they will be installing their circuit.
