How would Handa celebrate Christmas?
We created individual art taking inspiration from how Kenya celebrates Christmas. This is through making African paper plate necklaces and creating Christmas tree decorations using ribbons. For maths, we used positional language by moving animals to the correct position. In the afternoon, we designed candles, built Santa using split pins and made Kenyan soapstone using play-doh. We concluded the day by singing Christmas carols in Swahili, playing drums, and listening to a Kenyan Christmas story at home time.
