Children in Need Day – Friday 15th November
On Friday 15th November, Broad Heath Primary will be celebrating Children in Need day.
On the day, children are invited to dress up in anything spotty! Children will be able to wear Pudsey-themed outfits (spots), or non-uniform in support of the fantastic charity.
Please bring in any donation you can to support the charity, a suggested amount is 50p.
During the day, children may engage in some activities on the theme ‘Make Life Lighter’, which is around positively supporting one another, good mental health and a positive outlook on life – all great messages!
We understand some parents’ concerns around the BBC at this present time, in relation to their reporting of specific events worldwide, and will support those who do not feel that they can support the day through dressing up or a donation. School attendance is still expected on the day and children can still wear non-uniform.
However, we wish to stress the school’s view that any day that can raise the profile of providing support to children is incredibly important, and hope that families understand that our undertaking of this day is purely focused on the positive impact that we can have on helping young people succeed.
Thank you for your support of your children and school
Mr Andrews
