What a fantastic last wellbeing day of year 4! We were so proud of the determination, resilience, teamwork and tenacity shown by all!

Football

During football, we practiced our dribbling and shooting skills through a 1 vs 1 competition. Afterwards, we had a penalty shoot out and to see which team would be victorious! We finished our activity of football with a game of football. There were some amazing skills shown today!

Mini-golf Active Maths

During mini golf children estimated the correct angles (obtuse and acute) and aimed to put the ball in the hole on their first attempt (hole in one). Children were motivated and were great, well done guys! Amazing support towards their team mates too!

Archery

During archery we practiced shooting our targets ! We earned dojo points for every number we scored and also enjoyed being competitive with each other. Year 4 learnt how to work as a team and had a fantastic time for well being day 😊

Maths Escape Room

Lost in the labyrinth! We solved clues, puzzles using our mathematical knowledge. Our task was to discover the password to unlock the phone……Escaping the room!

PSHE: Moving on videos for Year 3

We took a trip down memory lane and looked at our time over year 4. We then put this together as an iMovie for the year 3’s along with some advice to help them succeed. We hope the year 3’s find it useful.

The Tudors

We recapped our learning on the Tudor monarchs and created posters to share our knowledge.

What was your favourite activity of the day? Why?

What new skills did you learn?
