RB Summer Term 2 Homework Gallery!

Week 1
This week in maths, we created number lines, exploring the largest numbers we could reach and what happens when we add one more. In literacy, we used our phonics knowledge to write as many CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words as possible. In Understanding the World (UTW), we learned about different types of transport that have wheels. Super effort RB keep up your hard work!

Well done to the reception children for completing the homework! it’s clear that you’re putting in great effort to achieve your best. Week 2

This week in maths we counted different coloured cars on the way to school and created a tally chart. In literacy we drew pictures of various types of transport and wrote independence sentences. And for physical development we practiced doing buttons on our own to prepare for year one. Great Job!

week 3

This week in maths, we practiced number sentences using plus and minus signs with objects. In literacy we used our phonics knowledge to to read and write words with the ‘sh’ sound. For understanding of the world we created transport models using various resources and materials. Excellent effort!

Week 4

This week in maths, we used various shaped materials found at home to make a boat. For literacy, we drew a picture of a place we have visited and wrote an independent sentence about it. In understanding of the world we learnt about objects that sink and float.
