Welcome back to our final term! It has gone super fast ! This term were are focusing on different types of transport and journeys. This week we started with the importance of road safety and always making sure we are listening to instructions given by a trusted adult near the road side!
This week to coincide with the children’s learning we introduced a new sensory diet. We used a tuff tray, some dirty cars and lots of foam. The children created their very own car wash. The children thoroughly enjoyed this and displayed some great active learning. (Aswell as getting a little messy 😀).
For our mark making activity, with the support of the adults in the room we created our very own paper planes and then had a little race on who can throw them the furtherest.
The children got their creative caps on and displayed some fantastic teamwork in making their very own car/bus out of our soft play area.
Next week, we will be focusing on different types of transport and what transport do we use to get to school 🏫. We will be comparing old transport to our modern day transport.
