This term, a selection of children from Year 4 and 5 have been chosen to take part in being junior PCSO’S. We have the privilege of having PCSO’S Jake and Adam visit us every week to teach us various skills and take part in activities.

For our first session, we were giving a uniform of a high visibility vest, a hat, ID lanyard and an activity pack. We started off by giving our pledge, this is where we dedicated and made a promise to be our best when being a junior PCSO. We then went on to learn about the phonetic alphabet, which is used a lot in the police force when they need to communicate clearly over the radio or phone. We then played a few games, one of them being to verbally say a letter from the phonetic alphabet and then to spell it. We hope you enjoyed it, I did!

Can you remember the Phonetic alphabet?
