Entrepreneur Week in 4R

Entrepreneurship teaches valuable life skills such as hard work, effective communication and resilience after disappointment. These skills are essential not only for becoming successful in school, but also outside for school. This week, the children tested their skills and knowledge about entrepreneurship and how to build a successful career.

The children created a business plan to help build a cake empire! The goal was to create a company that distributes cakes. Their businesses will launch at their cake sale at the Summer Fair, so this week focused mainly on branding, advertising and researching manufacture costs.

As well as entrepreneurship, the children looked deeper into their future careers. They explore different paths they could embark on to reach their dreams and aspirations. They also learned about the importance of school and the skills taught in school that could be useful in their future careers.

What did you learn from this week, that you didn’t know before?

What career would you like to go into, in the future?

My favourite part of the week was the visitors because we met different people with different jobs also, they told us how to actually be successful when your growing up,and looking for a job.

We made a biography about Nadiya Hussain and we were told she a very troubled backstory so as other famous people like footballers, singers and more.

I would like to be a footballer but if it doesn’t work out I would like to start a business as I will put effort in the business hoping I will do well and end up getting a pretty good job.
