A local artist came into school to talk to us about the artwork that he produces. We were then able task him questions about what he does, the materials he uses and if he uses pattern in nis artwork.
We looked at repeating patterns in ditterent artwork, in particular designs by the artist William Morris. We then used a variety ot materials to create our own repeating patterns.
Children created sweet cone covers.
