Our week was off to a GREAT start with a visit from a real artist! This entrepreneur makes money from selling his own artwork. This inspired us when creating our own!
The children all produced a beautiful piece of artwork using pastels. We were very proud of ourselves!
We also developed our money skills this week. Most importantly, we learnt to recognise and understand the value of different coins and notes. This is an extremely important life skill!
We also spent time designing and creating our own bookmarks to sell at the Summer Fair! We collected flowers to press… used origami and created bookworms too!
We hope you will buy them!
CHALLENGE
Children – this week you wrote some beautiful persuasive pieces of writing to make people want to buy your bookmarks. Can you write yours on the blog? See if you can use exclamation marks (!) and a question (?).
