Today we discussed the definitions of the key mathematical vocabulary, in regards to capacity. For example, when something is ’empty’, it does not contain or hold anything. Whereas ‘full’ is the opposite and means there is a large amount of volume. We matched the vocabulary to the images, then applied our understanding by filling the cups with the correct amount of water. We really enjoyed working outside!
