Our big question – How is Diwali celebrated?
How is Diwali celebrated? Today, we visited the Temple where Mrs Patel told us about her traditions and celebrations during Diwali. We all have different beliefs and traditions so It was interesting to hear about how she celebrated and to look around the Temple. Thank you so much to our brilliant parent helpers for your support.
We learnt that Diwali is a festival of light and that fireworks are lit as part of the celebrations. We created some fire work pictures, explored light, learning new vocabulary such as, transparent, translucent, opaque and even created a comet. Take a look at our brilliant work below.
